I have been using Google Messages in Firefox for over a year, and have never had any problem until the most recent Firefox update from Linux Mint. Google Messages loads on the tab, and everything seems fine. But when I click on a conversation on the left, it crashes as it's loading the conversation.

All of my software is up to date, i.e., no new software updates are indicated in the system tray (?) on the panel. Firefox info: mint-001 - 1.0 147.0.2 (64-bit)

I am unable to log into RBS site on Firefox but I can on Chrome and Edge. What's the problem and how do I fix it? This has only happened in the last couple of days.

The title says it all. I use Firefox on my home computer with Windows 10, and my work laptop using Windows 11. At home, URLs do not autocomplete when typing them in--settings are all on for this to work properly, and it used to work properly, but it does not work at all. At work, URLs complete just fine.

After the last system update, I now am being asked to enter my "Primary password", every time I open a new page. When I try entering a password , it is not recognized and I have to click on cancel in order to proceed. I have used what I recall was my password but it is recognized, but I don't get a message telling me it is the wrong password. How can I get back to the previous version that did not ask for my Password. Is that an option?

Hello, Having followed the advice as under: If you've previously made use of Firefox Sync, please make sure you're signed into your Mozilla account and have enabled Bookmarks within your Sync settings, because Firefox will automatically download any available data from our sync servers as long as you are logged into the account you used to sync.

Additionally, please consider that if your bookmarks are still available in the local storage of another device, signing into Sync on these devices will let you upload this account data and make your data accessible on any other devices you enable Sync on.

Andd checking the the Bookmarks tick-box was checked [as was last attempt] I tried to sign in to open the required page, but got 2 x 'error' windows, as attached, one for enail address [been using this for 2 yaers] and the other for password [how did I get this page up with the wrong password??]

Hello. I'd wriitten a few days ago about being blocked from firemountaingems.com I got help from Issis B. and was able to browse the site by turning off the VPN temporarily. Today, I am again blocked even with the temporary turn off of the VPN.

Is there a way you can show me easily step by step, how to exclude certain sites from the VPN permanently.

Before the new profiles update in Firefox I was using the old version of creating profiles and I want to move that profile into the new profile method. Is that possible?

I have recently begun to have hard 'hangs' while attempting to view a video on a site I'm already connected to. I've tried to overcome these hangs, but they continue to happen even after firefox has been in use for a short time. I have to restart my computer, since the hang is locking up all control input.

When I try to download a statement from my bank I just get a blank page pop up. This used to work with Firefox and it works OK with Chrome. What has changed ...or is there a Firefox setting that is wrong?

Since a while, I think it is since I created an extra testprofile with "firefox-esr -P", but I've set my main profile as default again

When opening a link in another program than firefox I get always: a popup "Close Firefox" "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To use Firefox, you must first close the existing Firefox process, restart your device, or use a different profile."

I do have both firefox and firefox esr, I usually use regular firefox the second came with the debian 13 repository.

I keep the esr to test display issues for reproducibility on my personal desktop, because I manage debian 13 kiosk-style desktops with firefox-esr.

(I noticed also that the regular firefox profiles can not be opened in firefox esr, so I use an extra profile for esr)

I searched how to disable any random new AI features Firefox was about to cram into the browser.

I was served this support page that says I can "Block new and current AI features (single switch)"

Simply, the described feature to disable AI features isn't in the settings. I've look and tried searching for "Block AI enhancements" & "AI controls" but no luck.

Please tell me they haven't given the writing of support pages to some shitty LLM.

Hi, I am using Firefox on Mac Os Tahoe and IOS 18.7 and 26.2 (2 iPads). I have set up synching of my open tabs, but this works only from MacOs to the iPads, not the other way round. When closing MacOs Firefox tabs on the iPads this does not synch back to the Mac. I am missing something?
