I want to export email from only one or two Thunderbird folders--either into a single Thunderbird folder which I place in Dropbox for someone else to download to their computer--or simply move all that email into one folder in Microsoft Office. I can move email into a external folder, but can only move a few at a time. I want to move all the email in one folder to folder outside of Thunderbird. Thank you!

I am backing up my Thunderbird (Windows 11) data weekly, and the size is rather large, as I have 19 years of messages (individual folders) in that Local Folder. Is there any way of saving these folders elsewhere so they are not backed up, or perhaps excluding them from backup somehow?

I am trying to set up a subfolder in "Sent" for a gmx account within Thunderbird. I right click on "sent" but there is no "new subfolder" option (see attached image). I also have a gmail account and that does have a "new subfolder" option. Can anyone help?

I have a downloaded application of Thunderbird 78.6.1 on my computer from 2021. With my new Windows 11 Pro I had to download and install 138.0 (64 bit) and I'd like to go back to 78.6.1. Can I install it by running the application from the old download? If so, do I need to uninstall 138.0 first?. Will my address book and emails be safe? Is there any profile mix up I should be concerned about?

I dumped a zip file from a thumb drive to Thunderbird and it appears all the emails have downloaded but while I logged in with one gmail account those current emails on the gmail account are there 577 of them but the 17,763 emails are showing in gray next to the 577 but I cannot access those? How can I access those emails? These are old emails where I no longer have accounts for. Thanks

I have backed up the data regularly before, but in the new Windows 11 pc, I cannot find the data.

It used to be "C:\Users\Jim\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\itfho9h2.default" on the old Windows PC which went bonkers. Now should be "C:\Users\Jim\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\i3ls19ra.default-esr", but when looking in the "C:\Users\Jim\AppData\Roaming\" folder, Thunderbird folder is not there with the others. But that is where Thunderbird data is supposed to be according to Account Settings, Message Storage, Local Directory.

So, how do I find where the data is so that I can back it up?

I use Thunderbird for email and Edge for my browser. Unfortunately the icons for the two are so similar it's difficult to tell them apart. I'd like to suggest that Thunderbird/Mozilla allow users to substitute their own icons for the running programs if they don't want to use the default one.

I have been away from this laptop for about 7 months; now, when I try to access TBird, it seems to hang indefinitely [I haven't timed it but it seems like more than half an hour, maybe a lot more] displaying "xxxx@xxxxx.com: Host contacted, sending login information" in the bar at the bottom of the screen ... Every once in a long while, it jumps up and asks for my password. I give the one that relates to the "xxx" email address above and it rejects it as incorrect. I have checked that the password works to get into this account on webmail.

When we moved, our internet service provider did not provide service at the new address. As a result, they killed my IMAP email account I had for more than 20 years. There is a Thunderbird profile folder located in Users\name\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\********.default-esr\ImapMail\. It is 49GB in size. How do I get Thunderbird to access this folder and these emails? Do I rename it and/or move it to a different location? Please help. Thanks.

One feature missing from K9/Thunderbird for android is ability to view the complete email headers and text. Having the option to not only view headers is to view and export the complete email message. Can the developers add that ability in upcoming versions?

No matter what setting I choose , ie dark or light, all the websites are showing dark. This is a real problem for my eyesight. I cant see words etc. I have tried various changes and have reset dark/light but still dark. can anyone help with this please

Hello, I recently had 20+ tabs open in Firefox. I moved 1 tab of the 20 to be a separate page and closed the other tabs. Now I am unable to re-open the other tabs through the 'Recently Closed Tab' feature. That feature only shows a few new tabs I opened on the separate page. Is the only option to painstakingly search through history over several months to re-open several tabs I had open for several months? Thank you the feedback, Ken

Hello Firefox group, the translation of countries and site text is very limited, and most of the add-ons are not useful, and you can't go to Web Park with Firefox.

I want to edit my auto-fill data, I suspect it may have errors. How do I get to see and edit the auto-fill data that has been entered into my browser? I have looked and can't locate this info.
