using linux cinnamon, have to continuously sign in to my sites. I didn't have to do this before. what can I do to stop the cookie deletion or whatever is causing this??

Hi, The question is in the title. I have imported my Outlook data in this 32-bits version (updated to 140.7) . I would like to keep them in a 64-bits version (147). I didn't find the solution. Thank you for helping me. Michael.

On my PC Thunderbirds sending/receiving mail says the mail server refused my connection. My laptop works fine. I have duplicated my laptops in/out specifications onto the PC but still nothing works. Spectrum says everything on their end is fine but can't vouch for roadrunner who is the rr in my mail address of ca.rr.com. All this started about 4 days ago. Any ideas on what to try next? Thanks.

I tried updating Firefox and it failed me. At the end of the day of work I did an automatic update. I shutdown my computer and the next day Firefox worked intermittently as in it would load pages and some it wouldn't load. I thought it was my internet connection and verified in another browser. The internet connection was okay, it was a Firefox issue. Then I notice the Firefox icon was a generic icon. I'm now lost all my bookmarks, which I thought I had in Firefox sync and open windows / tabs. This is a bit frustration that Firefox failed like this and caused me to lose data.

Hello, My SMTP server uses Let's Encrypt certificate. The website with the same domain has no certificate. Thunderbird refuses to connect to my SMTP server. Test connection to the server (STARTTLS) in account settings sais "The secure connection to the server failed" (or similar. I see bg localization). Another server with Let's Encrypt certificate. Test pases. Clicking View certificate shows webserver cert (from DigiCert Inc).

I can't send emails! :)

Ever since the recent UI revamp, search does not show suggestions. I confirmed they are enabled in settings. I tried restarting my phone, using other search providers (Google and duck duck go), and stacking trending results, all to no avail.

i cannot download files protected with basic authentication any more. it was broken already a while ago, then „fixed“ (at least it worked) and now it is broken again. safari has no problems. my typical usecase is pdf files which i actually just want to view. but screen stays empty.

On January 1 my desktop version stopped downloading my GMAIL but my other non gmail are still downloading

I use Windows 10 and the version of Thunderbird is 147.0 64 bit

What can I do to fix this?

I am trying to send emails from a software program through Mozilla to individual customers. I am receiving an error message. "Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Message detected as spam. [1768849024-673587]." Can you help??

On Monday, 17 November 2025 the Security Certificate expired and I stopped receiving emails both on my computer and Andriod Device. As a result I am not receiving any emails through Thunderbird, but I can go to email host site to view them.

I logged in my computer tonight and clicked here and clicked there and the error message: "The certificate for mail.homebizmall.net is not valid for that server. Someone could be trying to impersonate the server. Create an exception but this could mean that someone has stolen your certificate and may be able to impersonate you."

So it seems the POP server and the SMTP server certificates were only valid for 3 months and I was FORCED to create the exception for both servers. Now I am worried the security has been breached.

By clicking here and clicking there, I stumbled on a few people who seem to have this problem, but each with their own limitations. My operating System is Windows 10 without the option to upgrade. I have not extended the security updates because I don't understand if it is just the operating system uploading to the cloud or everything on my computer and I am not prepared to do the latter.

Is it safe to leave the band aid on that I have used for the moment? Can I create an exception for the phone? Or is there a glitch that someone needs to walk me through fixing?

When I use the browser to open an app and After I enter that app, I need data from another app so I touch the icon at the bottom of the screen that shows me a list of apps, I select an app from that list, open it and get the data from it via a copy, I the go back to the app in Firefox and it takes me back to a different prior screen that requires me to reenter login in info or back to the screen before I exited to get the data i needed. this does not happen in android 15 etc on all my other devices. How do I stop it? Have I used/changed a setting? Bruce Arbuckle [edited email]

I have just installed Thunderbird for my wife on Fedora. She is struggling because she relies on her program (formerly mac Mail) 'knowing' the addresses of contacts and autosuggesting when she types the first few letters. Obviously with a fresh install of TB, it doesn't 'know' any of her contacts. Is there a way to make it learn from the Sent Items folder? So that it auto adds all addresses she HAS SENT TO (in the past), to her contacts/address book? Thanks
