FIREFOX DISABLING MY ADDONS!

more options

I am really tired of Firefox disabling my addons! I depend on the Norton Safe Web toolbar, but you have disabled it because you claim it is not compatible with YOUR software! What gives you the right to make those decisions on MY computer? I need to know how to turn that addon back on!

It is is disabled because the version you have (likely older) was not marked compatible with Firefox 13.0 by Norton.

Norton has been quite good in having update patches to support the current new stable Firefox releases the same day of shortly after for the last several Firefox releases.

I KNOW why it was disabled. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. What I can't tolerate is Firefox taking liberties to disable the things that I depend on (that toolbar has saved my butt on several occasions), without notification. Common courtesy to let us know what's going on. I should not have to spend time searching for explanations and/or resolutions to a problem that would not have been created if they had notified me. I do believe I am finally done with Firefox!
