Firefox 4 Install Problem on iMac 10,1

Greetings,

I was running firefox RC1 prior to upgrade to FF4. Downloaded new FF, installed via drag and drop method, attempted to open application.

Currently the application appears to be open; however, there is no active FF browser window. I can see the FF menu options when the application is open EG: File, edit, view, history etc. but there is no browser window the surf the web with.

When I click on File > New window nothing happens on my screen, but under the window drop down menu, a new instance is created.

Not sure what the problem is. I also removed FF from my computer and did another reinstall with the same effects.
