Hi

Have you tried a Windows [Restart] [Shut down] keeps old settings etc.

Hi Paul! It may be a bit confusing but the toolbar icon does not control VPN connectivity on it's own. When you click the VPN toolbar icon, does a panel pop up? If yes, you should be able to activate the VPN from there.

Yes a panel appears on the main screen which says 'Try firefox built in VPN, I click that and a panel comes that I have successfully joined VPN, but the symbol with the x and VPN does not activate as it has in the past when I have clicked on it. Every time that I use my computer, I always shut it down when I am done.
