Month view in Calendar, can I navigate to different days using keyboard?

Hi all,

I am new to a Mac (1 year now) and am trying to make Thunderbird work for me as I have not been happy with other mail clients. I am struggling through a few things.

I like to navigate by keyboard if possible. In the Calendar tab using a month or multi week view, the "[" and "]" move month by month or week by week in multi-week view. How do I move to the next day or two using the keyboard?

A big thank you to all who reply, and sorry if this question has been answered many times before (I did not find the answer in the keyboard FAQ). --Tim

Theoretically you can navigate in the Calendar tab using the tabulator key. But it will take you an eternity to go there where to want to be. Maybe an add-on but I don't know any which would do what you like. I'm on Mac and I have always used the macOS Calendar app to create, edit and/or modify my events. It is only since Thunderbird supports CalDav that I created my iCloud calendar in Thunderbird in order to synchronise between Mac, Thunderbird an iPhone. The Calendar app also allows a higher number of reminders.

Thank you Mapenzi. I appreciate you. I find the Mac Calendar UX to be good - not great, but I do use it for most my needs.

It just seems like using arrow keys would go to the next day or the previous day is intuitively obvious. I think this has worked with every calendar tool I've used since the Mac or Windows were invented (yes, I'm that old). It's surprising to me that this doesn't work with Thunderbird.

Cheers, Tim
