Works for me. see screenshots What OS? If windows, home or pro and what security software are you running besides MS Defender? What version of Firefox? Show the issue.

This is likely a case of the firewall's fault, not Firefox. You need to try fixing the firewall.

Is firefox.exe allowed by the firewall to communicate with your computer or have any traffic between you? If not, [these steps]. If the firewall was already configured to allow Firefox, move on to the next step.

Try pinging Google Meet's website using the ping command or nslookup? Was it able to make a connection, if so, try reinstalling Firefox, rebooting your machine (if the daemons have gotten laggy, in other words, a reboot helps it since long uptimes makes the computer slower and less smooth in networking). If it didn't make an connection, it is likely your firewall's fault or machine's fault.

If the ping wasn't successful, check if the site was blocked. If that returns nothing blocked, check the HOSTS file, if it is blocked or modified, remove the offending entry.

Lastly, try these Windows commands:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

The first commands releases the IP address. The second one gives you a new IP address, solving a rare issue of conflicting IP addresses.

If you use DoH or another DNS (in your router, Firefox etc.), try using another option or your system DNS and see if the issue still persists.

In short, restart, reinstall Firefox, do these steps, anything to ensure that this isn't the easiest fix.

If you still can't access it, it's the fault of something else: your router? Check if your router's DNS blocks the site (check in other devices) or if it blocks you from accessing that site.

If your router is fine and other devices can access Google Meet (and you are using a non-faulty DNS, your firewall isn't faulty, your computer isn't a horrible machine that can't do networking), it may either be an ISP error or the DNS provider error. In which case... use a VPN and see if that does the trick. It bypasses ISP blocks and other blocks your DNS provider may have put.

If NOTHING works... it's just your machine. Can't blame it on anything else.

TL;DR: Try checking your firewall for any blocks, try checking your HOSTS file for any blocks. Reinstall Firefox, restart Firefox. Check if your DNS resolver is blocking the site intentionally or is acting up.

As pointed, more information is needed. I'd recommend your OS, architecture, Firefox version and a picture of the error and a short video of the error/trying the steps (if you can!)

Thanks for your attention
