I've been accessing my ATT Yahoo mail on Firefox for about 20 years. In the last month or so, after entering my password, I get an error message titled "Something Went Wrong." When I go to Chrome, I have no trouble signing in.

here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

   1. Clear Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, corrupted cache or cookies can cause login issues. To clear them in Firefox:
       ◦ Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner.
       ◦ Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
       ◦ Under the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click on Clear Data.
       ◦ Select both "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content," then click Clear.
   2. Disable Extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with website functionality. Try disabling your extensions:
       ◦ Click on the menu button and go to Add-ons and themes.
       ◦ Disable all extensions and try logging in again. If it works, re-enable them one by one to identify the culprit.
   3. Update Firefox: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Firefox. Go to the menu button, select Help, and then About Firefox to check for updates.
   4. Check Privacy Settings: Sometimes, strict privacy settings can block certain website functionalities:
       ◦ Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
       ◦ Under "Enhanced Tracking Protection," try setting it to "Standard" and see if that resolves the issue.
   5. Try Safe Mode: Firefox has a Safe Mode that disables extensions and uses default settings:
       ◦ Click on the menu button, go to Help, and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
       ◦ Try logging in to your email in Safe Mode.

6. Check for Corrupted Profile: If none of the above steps work, your Firefox profile may be corrupted. You can create a new profile:

       ◦ Type about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter.
       ◦ Click on Create a New Profile and follow the prompts.
       ◦ Open the new profile and try logging in to your email.
   7. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Sometimes, security software can block certain websites. Ensure that your firewall or antivirus is not blocking Firefox.
