i lost the SEND icon in the upper left corner of the application i have no way to compose then send it

i have tried to reload thunderbird but still no button for SEND. i dont want to uninstall Thunderbird because i'm afraid i will lose all the files i have saved, in sub folders Please help. i also can not reply to any thing thank you Lee Lynch
