Bookmarks sorted by date when pressing "control" + "b"
I know there are ways , with more clicks or longer shortcuts to get to some folders but this is the main and most easily accessible way to get to my bookmarks. I know this has been discussed in some older posts but they are all archived so I can't ask any questions there. Sorting by name, for me, is quite inconvenient as sometimes the bookmarks title isn't immediately, easily remembered. Thanks.

Ctrl+B opens the bookmarks in the sidebar and this only allows to show the bookmarks as they are currently sorted. There is only "Sort by Name" possible, for other ways to sort the bookmarks you need an extension. In the Library (Ctrl+O) you can click the column header or use the Views menu, but only works temporarily while you are in the Library.
Too bad. I would have thought they could have added an option after all this time. One shouldn't have to resort to extensions or having to open up extra folders to see your bookmarks sorted in one of the two main ways all files are sorted on computers. Thanks for your answer.
