Address book
Thunderbird 102.9.0 I am no longer able to keep my address book alphabetized. I have gone thru the View looking for any alphabetize method, but it's not on the list. I go through my address book yearly just to clean up, and it had been in order for years. I hadn't checked it since beginning of 2022. Now it's in random order. I do allow updates to download and run automatically since I've never had any issues with a Mozilla product. I have tried a restoration, however that did not change the address book. Thanks everyone!

See the search box that says 'search all address books"? See the icon just to the right? Click it and one of the options is to show horizontal view.

You should see a menu bar across the top of addressbook listing, with words such as name, email address, phone, etc. Click 'name' and it will sort the listing. If you do NOT see that format, then click the box to right of searchbox and select 'show horizontal view'.
Thanks for reply. I donot see any of the layouts you have described. ATtached is pic of Address Screen. Please advise?

Duhhh...Yep! That was it! "Oh THAT search bar and icon". Ha. Thanks so much David, I appreciate the fix and your hangin' in there with me. Larry
