nothing is in here. at all.

i've read a bunch of help feeds on this and nothing makes sense to me.

i have been on thunderbird forever and this is frightening.

Chosen solution

The TOOLS IMPORT feature seems to have brought everything over, other than my inbox.

Now need to just find my INBOX.

I see my INBOX starting to populate.

Your original profile may still be there. click help>moretroubleshootinginformation, scroll down to Profiles in left sidebar and click 'about:profiles' - and the screen may show more than one profile. If so, you may be able to select and use it. The creation of a new profile sometimes happens when Thunderbird starts and sees what may be a problem in profile, so it creates a new one.
