Twitter Images and Media will NOT load on MacBook laptop

Greetings, As the subject field says, images and media will NOT no longer load on Twitter on my MacBook laptop, instead getting a grey field wherever any such images/media should be. My Firefox browser is up to date. Strangely, when I change my VPN from a US location to some European servers, some images may appear. Any help and/or suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows a purple shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked.
