When mail opens I get "Failed to connect to server comcast.net"

I can mail out but can't receive from server. (Comcast) Currently I have to go to my server mail account to read what I have. I am using POP Mail Server (by choice), port 995 as instructed by Thunderbird for manual setup. Connection security SSL/TLS Normal Password

After 30 minutes Thunderbird started downloading mail from the server all by itself. No changes were made. It just started working on it's own. MAGIC!!!! Thanks anyway, Spasso
