I cannot print pages directly from Firefox. When I receive links via emails for shipping labels, I can see the shipping label in Firefox, but when I click on the link incluided on the browserr page to print the label, the preview and actual printing are blank. This also happens when trying to print an entire web page via menu>file>print. I have no problem performing the same action through Internet Explorer. This has only been happening for a few months after and subsequent to an update. Not sure which update began this problem. Been using Firefox for many years without any issues.

or try The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Hi LastGuy, some mailing labels are PDFs. I recommend printing PDFs from your stand-alone PDF reader program instead of from Firefox. You will get better fidelity that way because Firefox converts PDFs to HTML first, which can affect layout.

To launch a PDF from the viewer into your preferred application, you can use the download button as shown in this screenshot:

Thank you both! FFus3r's answer solved my issue. I have probably been using old profile data to restore various themes that eventually took its toll on various FirweFox features.

Jsher2000's answer dealt with other issues I was experiencing.

Thank you both for your timely and most complete solutions!
