When I installed the Firefox Browser on an older desktop that I'm setting up with Windows 10 Home, (Running in U.S. (English), the browser installed itself in Spanish. I have not been able to find the place where I can change the default language to English. I did find a place on a help menu to change the language there, but the help (in English) suggests a place that I can't seem to find on the setup page (appearing still in Spanish), . . . so after looking around as best I could, I decided to ask the forum. It is probably super-simple. I've installed Firefox on several other computers, and never encountered this problem before. ( A side note: Winndows is in the midst of upgrading versions from 1511 to 1803 and has been "busy" on my very slow internet connection for about two days now, and still is working on that, as I write this.) Thanks for any help. :) C.F.

Hi, yes Win10 has been doing that for months. You can bring it in yourself : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 When next one is released just look and will find the a page like the above and download it when not using cpu.

You can uninstall it and install the correct one :

Do this 1st, just in case :

Ok please go to 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> in General that opens, go down to Languages please click on Choose. With luck there will be English-US or GB which ever you need. and there will be Spanish. Move the appropriate one up. Remove the other if not going to use it.

If no English-US if in the US then please go here : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/language-tools/ and download it. While here check 3 Bar Menu --> addons for English Dictionary for Spell Checking. If no Dictionary and want spell check download it.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
