let firefox remember custom Website calls in autocomplete

more options

Hi,

as webdeveloper I often have to access localhost or other adress with a special port or in https.

For example if I let run a Web App over the port 8080 with https on my maschine, I often just type 'lo' in the Webadress and try to autocomplete, but it just call 'localhost' not add the port or https and will never remember this.

Is there a way to let firefox better remember this? Chrome can do this perfect, so I never really use firefox because it brother me so hard, that its so stupid and also the newest version cant do this from start.

Cheers Jens

Hi OhDeers

  1. Since you are a developer could you please file a bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org and post the link here?
  2. If you don't have the time to file a bug, please let me know a specific set of steps to reproduce and I'll see if I can file a bug for you.

Cheers!
