The orange Firefox drive icon and the blue install folder on my desktop WILL NOT GO AWAY. Firefox is installed on my hard-drive and an icon is in the dock. Every time I open Firefox the cd download symbol appears on my desktop. I tried ejecting the drive icon as suggested in multiple posts, and I followed the Mozilla response step by step, but both the drive and folder icon return every time I open Firefox. I dragged the icon to trash, and it continues to reappear. It's distracting and I'd like to remove both. Otherwise, I'll head back to Safari. Thanks.
