I pinned a few tabs on my page when some automatically have a "favicon". other have an empty square. How can i put a favicon in those. its hard to recognize the ones with the empty squares.

When the web page that is 'pinned' doesn't have a Favicon image to be displayed in a tab, a person used to be able to save that web page as a bookmark and add their own Favicon image for that bookmark. And then "pin" that bookmarked tab.
