Extension to quickly add current page as bookmark in a specific folder?

I have many bookmark folders. I'd like a way to easily and quickly add the current page to one of those folders.

I use the Add Bookmark Here 2 extension, but I find that adding bookmarks to deeply nested folders is frustrating, because if you accidentally mouse out of the menu or sub-menu, the entire thing closes.

What I would like is to press a hotkey and to be presented with a text box where I can enter a portion of the folder's name, which will show auto-complete options, and then I can select one of those folders and have the bookmark immediately added there.

Does such an extension exist?

Chosen solution

I found the extension Add Bookmark Here ² - https://addons.mozilla.org/En-uS/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/ .

It adds an "Add Bookmark Here..." menu item to folders in both the bookmarks toolbar and in the bookmark button.

I've found that it greatly speeds up the process of bookmarking the current page to a specific folder.

On the page you want to bookmark, do a right click in an empty area of the page. At the top of the menu, press the Star. Hot key; <Control>
(Mac: <Command>) D.

Or, Press the bookmarks Star on the toolbar. This will place a bookmark in the Unsorted Bookmarks Folder. To edit or move that bookmark, press the Star again.

A window will come up with the name of the page and its web address. You can edit these entries.

Next, select what bookmarks folder you want this bookmark in. If you do not see that folder, go to the far right of the Folder line, and press the down arrow. You can also create a new folder.

Yup. That's one option. Another option is the Bookmarks sidebar.

I'd really like to find an extension where I can type a portion of the name of the folder. That will eliminate the need for all drag-and-drop and navigating deep hierarchies of bookmark folders - and will also be faster.

If the folders are open (expanded) then you can click on the folder area to set focus to this area and quickly type the first letters of the folder name to jump to a match. Repeat to go to the next match.
