Firefox keeps crashing while trying to open. I tried opening in safe mode but that doesn't help either. This started happening right after the recent update.

Hi, the crash seems to be caused by 'Symantec Intrusion Detection,' so perhaps you could try updating or disabling it to see if that solves your problem.

Download the current full installers for your Norton programs and save them.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product

After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner. Then run the installers.
