Adware issue, slowing down Firefox and opens new tabs. How do I get rid of it?

I have tried most things, adware removers, anti viruses, uninstalling firefox, clean installing it, deleting folders C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox and a few other things but nothing helps. It is only effecting Firefox, Chrome and internet explorer work fine. Firefox after the adware/virus has become impossible to use. It has pop ups, hyperlinks, opens new tabs and over all freezes pages.
