Firefox keeps "hanging" and sometimes crashes on my macbook. I've updated and went into safe mode, same problem. What next?
I updated to the most recent form of Firefox and that didn't work. Then I restarted in safe mode, that didn't work. What else should I try?

Hello graceajaen, you can provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste that into the "Post a Reply" box. (Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the ID's. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like)
Thank you for your help!
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.

I tried the instructions to turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. It seemed to work for 3-4 days, no issues. Then within the last 3 days, firefox has crashed multiple times. No hanging issues though since turning off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Please post the new crash reports once in a while. Not as they happen, but once in a while.
The crash reports flagged these programs;
libsystem_c.dylib
libsystem_kernel.dylib
CoreFoundation
HIToolbox
AppKit
I am thinking these are corrupt MAC files. Is there a way of testing them?
