Since installing your recent update to 102.0 64 bit, quite a number of my earlier emails now show as either blank or with what appears to be lines and lines of CSS code instead of text and images. Other emails arrive just fine. Wondering if those older emails are retrievable? Some new ones arrive the same way. Thanks for assisting!

Two issues which started at the same time we started using Thunderbird Version 102.0: a) I and my wife are both losing messages. The body of the message is completely empty although the email provider's website still has the complete message. b) We both use the "fetch headers only" option but Thunderbird Version 102.0 ignores this option and downloads the entire message. My installation of Thunderbird will not display e-mails for one account. When I click on the inbox for this account, the program seems to hang and the blue circle keeps rotating. If i go to "properties - repair folder", the location box is blank. All other accounts and folders seem to work fine. Would appreciate any assistance or insights you can offer. Thank you

I have configured an O365 account in Thunderbird(v102), macOS using the OWL Plugin, and want to download all the messages(along with attachments) on the server. The common answer I found on the forums is to go to the "Account Settings" > "Sync & Storage" section for the account you want to download all messages.

I can see this option for my Gmail ID, but not for my Office 365 ID!

It certainly has not downloaded all the emails, evident by my Profile Folder's storage utilization. Is there any way to download all of those emails, locally!! I have tried : - Going offline > Then selecting download everything before going offline. - Selecting "Don't delete any messages" under "Local Folders"

Dear Support, I am not sure what you did on this last up date but Wow! My email program/messages are all messed up-- all the folders-now it doesn't want to move email to their right folder when you select to move however it will delete another email not move original one, does not want to create any folders.. just a mess!! This is so frustrating I'm going to stop using this email program runs for while just fine and then an update and all goes to hell---not broke don't fix it!!

After suffering a disastrous loss of email caused by our web hosting service I've begun to use the Archive function in TB.

The objective is to not lose emails caused by others than myself.

Where are TB Archive folders located specifically? (yes, I understand they are somewhere in my default identity)

If I make a copy of the Archive folder contents located on my computer, put it in a stick drive (for example), delete the entire Archive folder contents located on my computer, can the backed-up folder contents be copied back to the former so that the emails will appear in TB as before?

Or, perhaps you can suggest a simpler way to backup emails?

Since updating to Thunderbird 102.0, it no longer is downloading new messages and is downloading duplicate old messages (POP) instead. Also, message filter has stopped working all messages are downloaded to my inbox instead of directed folders.

I have tried restarting to no avail. Thunderbird has been very reliable in the past. I can't understand why it is suddenly acting weird. The only thing that I noticed when the update was happening is that it appeared to update twice.

Since last update there is the word "desktop" on the bottom right side of the page - how do I get that to go away - tried to delete it but that does not work? Also after this update the Mozilla Thunderbird icon does not show on bottom of my screen - instead is like a white page opening up. How do I get the bird back and the white page icon to go away?

While sending an email, I get the message "Sending of message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Unable to establish a secure link with Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.telstra.com using SMARTILS since it doesn't advertise that feature. Switch off SMARTILS for that server or contact your service provider.

I don't understand this message and consequently am still unable to send messages with Thunderbird.

In Thunderbird 91.10.0, PGP encryption appears to have multiple issues.

Thunderbird has issues importing quite a few different public keys. If I try to import the file, OpenPGP Key Manager recognizes the key, shows the fingerprint, shows the email, but when you say import it says says 'Import failed'. If I try ti import from clipboard, same thing. If I try to search for them, the Keyserver can't find them even though they are available to find.

If I Send an email, encrypted using Thunderbird, Thunderbird cannot read the resulting email, "unknown PGP error". But other programs using the same key Can read the same email. I've tried both to the same email and to different email accounts.

Upgraded on 07/01/2022 to Thunderbird 102.0 and all accounts will not connect via POP3 to all my configured accounts.

All accounts keep asking for my password and when entered, fails after a timeout.

All accounts were functioning properly prior to the upgrade.

For months now Thunderbird will not properly following my userChrome code to change new mail to a different color. It used to be with just some accounts and not others. Now it is all accounts.

New mail is supposed to turn green. Now It reverts to my default color of white, not even my unread mail color of blue. Nor does the highlight on new/unread mail activate on those folders until I click on it.

They're all imap. It appears this most frequently happens to all accounts when I am working in another program and Thunderbird is not selected. When I am in the program it appears that the account I'm in works OK, but others don't. Then I have to hunt and search for the hard-to-see white number next to my folder, or worse, go clicking through all my unread folders that are properly turning blue to see if new message are in there. Many times they are, and will then turn green once I click the folder.

This used to work fine. I've tried every variation of userChrome settings, including putting all possible variables in to make sure it turns green, and nothing fixes it. It's been suggested to me by other users that this is a bug. Suggestions?
