My Sent folder disappeared. How do I restore the folder with the sent messages still intact. Or, at the least, just restore an empty Sent folder. The In-Box, Drafts, and Trash are still there.

All the settings are correct, and it seems that because there's no Sent folder I cannot send an email. When I try to send a message I get the attached Error.

My local phone company routes email through Yahoo Mail, then to Thunderbird. It was all working fine until my Sent folder disappeared. Now because of the missing Sent folder I have to create the email message in Thunderbird saving it in Drafts so I have a record. Then, I have to copy it and send it from Yahoo Mail. Needless to say this is a pain in the you know what.

Can someone please provide the instructions to get my Sent folder back?

I've used TB for years, but never had this problem until I had to download and install the latest version (after one of my laptops crapped out). When replying to an email, everything works correctly EXCEPT when I try to change the color of my typed text, it will not display the new color. I have no idea if it's changed on the recipient's end or not, but it always used to show the new color on my screen. Everything else seems to working beautifully, as usual . . .

I am using domain forwarding through forwardemail.net

What do I use for an email address setup in Thunderbird.

Thunderbird requires and email address. I do not have an email provider.

I recently lost all my Stored messages (don't know what I did). I have tried restoring everything from my backup device with no success. My backup data is as follows:- Chris's email 3.2.25 (version 128.6.1est (64 bit) Thunderbird Profiles jb1w6eta-esr imapMail imap.virginmedia.com

My stored folders are there.

I have tried importing using Thunderbird Tools Import From a Thunderbird Installation Choose a Profile folder I have then entered various levels of above backup They all say complete without actually transferring any data.

The current level of Thunderbird I have installed is 128.7.1esr.. Since this is different from the backup could that have an effect or am I missing a step in the import procedure?

Whenever I open a message from the inbox into its own window, the message text and images are tiny and unreadable until I zoom (Shift-Cmd-+) them larger. And when I reply to a message, the text is also starts out tiny, but gets larger when I Zoom it up with the original message. Similarly, the column-header icons of the inbox are tiny, while the text is OK.

All the rest of the interface is normal and readable, except for the tiny text and buttons in the interface-command/confirmation boxes.

I can adjust the font size and density from the "hamburger menu", just fine. And the MacOS 15.3.n-on-Intel settings seem right.

What am I missing? What else is there to change?

I tried to change the position of my signature, but I can't find the setting to this. I read this article for help. However, I can't find "Account Settings" in "Tools" menu(see attachments).

Is there any way to change the position of the signature?

I have this message on all my outgoing emails. Not one of them is going.... Nothing has changed

I have tried the delete key, I have dragged items to the trash I have trried control clicking What do I have to do to remove items from the Spaces Toolbar $#^@%@$#@%!!!?????

I am trying to add another account, but when I fill in the account info (name, email address, and password,) it pops up an oauth2 verification window but the window "Fails to connect"

The title of the window is "Enter Credentials for (email address) on imap.comcast.net.

After some time, I get a "unable to connect" message.

I recently upgraded my OS from WIN 8.1 to WIN 10.0. Previously, I had installed Thunderbird in order to download my Gmail messages etc and import them to TB locally for archival purposes. When I upgraded to WIN 10.0, it was a clean install so TB and all the data was deleted. I have backups of the Gmail files I previously imported to TB but it seems the instructions are not clear on how to get them back into TB locally. I want to be able to search and read these emails when needed, since I deleted them from the Gmail server

I have a new HD and installed Linux Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. I installed Thunderbird version 2:1 snap 1-Oubuntu3. The program will not open Just get "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I cannot add a Gmail account to Thunderbird (136.0 (64-bit) JPN) because the message "Verifying password" keeps appearing. Please let me know how I can resolve it.

Get Messages doesn't work anymore. I created another profile with the same email address and it works fine. The issue is that I lost all my info, addresses, and most importantly the Calendar. I've been messing around with this all in trying to import that info into the new profile, but failing. I copied calendar-data to the new profile, but it doesn't show up. Can someone please help! I have a bunch of email ids in a "category" in Windows Live Mail. If I use that to send an email, I can open the list to delete a specific email id. How do I do that in Thunderbird? Thanks.

I can't control the font size in messages displayed in conversations on the main display. Ctl-Shift-+ enlarges the space allocated to each conversation but doesn't change the font size. In a separate conversation window, things seem to be OK. T-bird 128.8.0esr (64-bit) : Conversations 4.2.4

I lost my primary password so I tried to reset it using this code in the console: "chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xhtml" . It has been running for a long time. I haven't received the Reset Password popup. It is still running. Attached is the screen shot.

I am trying to copy my Thunderbird profile folder from my Windows PC to my Linux Mint PC. I have successfully done this a few times previously, but this time it seems that Thunderbird does not 'see' the folder.

The Thunderbird folder copies to the correct folder (according to the instructions) OK, but when I start Thunderbird, nothing is shown. This is the first time that I have moved Thunderbird to A Linux OS, but I can't see what I am doing wrong.

In the Thunderbird email client, the subject line color of unread emails automatically changes from blue to black, even if I haven't opened them. This makes it difficult to distinguish unread emails, as both the sender's name and the subject line appear in bold black.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

I recently purchased a new computer and want to setup Thunderbird to use my ATT Yahoo mail account. I went through the automatic process and got an "incorrect information" message. I tried Yahoo's instructions and they don't match what shows up in the account setup in Thunderbird. I am stuck and need some step by step instructions to set this up. I am able to copy and past a URL into a message I am composing, but how do I get the URL to be shown as a hyperlink so that my email recipient can click on it and go to the website?
