On the moble browser for android I can't get websites to change from being in dark mode. I have made sure dark mode is off on the browser and the system. I have tested the same sites on other browsers to make sure it was not the sites. The browser and system are up to date.

Any help?

I have Firefox installed on my desktop and laptop but cannot download it onto my Galaxy A12 mobile.

When trying through Play Store it constantly informs me “Something went wrong, try again.”

When trying to download it from the internet, the Installation circle keeps revolving and nothing happens.

Do you have any advice please?

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. So I am posting here a second time, thanks.

How can i get to see back the symbol button that were missing in some website in my phone? For example in animixplay.to website the start button,fast forward button,the quality symbol button ,etc are missing..it suppose to have the symbol button like the picture..

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T530 with Android 5.0.2. I recently downloaded both Firefox and Firefox Focus but I haven´t been able to use neither of them: at first they just crashed, but now the tablet restarts a few seconds after opening and trying to browse anything. Every other app seems to work just fine.

I reinstalled it a few times. I've been able to view "about:crashes" and there were no crashes. What else can I do?

I don't want to use Chrome :( Please help!

Hi, how can I open a local html file with firefox 86 on android 9? It's like firefox no longer registers itself as a valid program/association to open html files.

What I've tried so far: 1) If I type file:/// in the URL bar, nothing happens. It works on Opera. 2) If I go to a file manager, select an html file, and click "Open with", firefox doesn't show up; Chrome and Opera do. 3) If I go to the android settings > applications > firefox > associations, firefox shows no associated file types at all.

The HTML language isn't only used on the Internet, it's also used for local documents, please allow us to use firefox to view our local html files.

In Huawei and that firefox newer version, if you open many tabs, like 8, you cannot slide between them, uponopening Firefox again, let's say tomorrow. It does not allow to slide with finger and switch from let's say first tab to eight. You see info in right bottom corner that there are 8 tabs, but you can not get those to open. You can not switch from visible tabs to those it visible at the moment.

I use version 89.1.1 (Build #2015812947) of Firefox with my cell phone Android OS. Since a few update, it's not possible to save a web page in a PDF document with my cell phone, that i can do with my pc and also latest version of Firefox installed on it. Is there a soon next version of Firefix for Android cell phone wich will allow to do that..? Thanks for your reply. Best regards from a basic dummy user. H.
