I have the latest FF browser. I'm not using any proxy service, just spectrum connection. when i try to access my credit union account, i get this message

"Error: "WWF2TUh4dnM=" - You're using an outdated browser or are using a Proxy service which is unsupported. Please update your browser or turn off your Proxy to continue, thank you."

how can i get past this? All help appreciated!

I need to install a browser on a Windows 7 laptop that I'm trying to get operational so the files / data can be migrated to another platform. I would like to use Firefox if possible.

I'm thinking I would need a prior version. If so, what version should I choose and where do I get it from?

The current / legacy browser is Brave but that has been disabled by installing Bitdefender as part of the ongoing cleanup process. --Thanks

I'm having a problem with websites not remembering my zoom percentage settings. The zoom settings were remembering on my administrator account until recently. The strange thing is that zoom settings on websites ARE remembered in my standard user account on the same device. I am talking about private browsing only & after I close the session & reopen another Firefox session. Thank you

I can't get to my gmail account if I go to firefox as a search and enter the single word GMAIL. Before anything else is entered, I end up at my wife's account. Why should that be and how to get to any other email account. I have the same problem with CROME except there it appears to be bound to MY account - the word GMAIL must trigger some fixed, prior established, link that was not intended. The fixed link in Firefox predates 115. I rarely use CROME. The Firefox linkage was very strange, but I mostly accessed MY account via Thunderbird until this also looked like a problem. Is there a way to break this fixed linkage? Thank you

Looking at your guesses, it is 115.8.1 according to my inspection, W7 is correct.

Since the last Firefox update I have been unable to login to my bank's website. Attached is a screenshot of the message that appears. As a test I tried logging in with Google Chrome and was successful so it is likely something with the last update of Firefox. Note that I am using Windows 7 and do not want to change to a newer version.

Hello. It seems that Google has created a way of "dealing with" Firefox's automatic removal of the page seeking one's acceptance or rejection of cookies. Each time I refresh the page, the accept/reject cookies pop-up briefly flicks on-screen but then disappears and one is back at the consent page:

So as things are, I cannot access the consent page to either reject or accept the cookies, and therefore I cannot get past the consent page and into googlemaps.

Google may be aware of Firefox's way of "dealing with" the consent page and has found a way of making it impossible for people to proceed to use of the googlemaps website.

I have been using Firefox and GoToMeeting for years, suddenly this month (July 2023) I get the following message when I try to open a GoToMeeting session”

“Sorry, this browser isn’t supported. Join in your browser by opening the link below in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.”

I don’t want to use either of those browsers.

What can I do to keep both Firefox and GoToMeeting?

Suddenly have green frame/border approx. 1 pixel wide around entire browser window, including various movies from different sites. This is a sudden development which I did not originate in any way. How can I remove this annoying green frame?

I've been on the net since probably 1995, working in the computer industry. I buy a lot of items on the web, especially Ebay. I like to save the entire listing at the time I bought the item. Why, because listings change and it's frustrating. This way I have the full page in my Documents folder. Over the years, I've been running into problems with save Web Page Complete. More times then not it Fails, no reasons, just the little download icon goes red and it failed. That's how I know...I have read other support questions, but nothing other than a screen shot is recommended...Ugh. how can one screen shot save a page that scrolls in my browser for many pages...

So Why Do complete web pages fail to save?

Why are there no Descriptive Errors?

Is there something I can do to ensure I get this feature working again, reliably that is;-)

Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! I tried to do a screen shot of the page, but your browse won't pick it up when I browse for the screen shot I saved on my desktop. Below is the web address copied from the address bar.

It has recently come to my attention that Mozilla may not continue to support Firefox browsers installed on Windows 7 computers after Jan. 2023, when the extended support for Windows 7 ends. Is that correct?

Will Firefox continue to work, but not receive security updates after that date?

Will Firefox still work on a Windows 7 computer that gets patches from 0Patch?

Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Can that lady able to get to Firefox to see my saved pass word and open my email box? - explore all my emails? Please help I am really worried. I look forward to hearing form you soon. Thank you. I use Firefox Developer Edition and recently I noticed a problem when watching videos on any website in full screen mode. As can be seen on the attached image, there is a weird pixelated border around the video.

Lost power. Computer shut down. Reopened Firefox and no passwords. Looked in profile and there are 4 files logins.json.corrupt (149 kb) all created today at same time and 1 file logins.json (2 kb). I ASSUME my passwords are in the 149KB json file? If I delete logins.json (2kb) and rename one of the 149KB to logins.json, when I reopen firefox, it just does it again: renames logins.json to logins.json.corrupt (149kb) and creates a new logins.json (2kb). Is there anyway to recover these passwords? Windows 7 Latest version of firefox
