Sometimes when I open a new tab and start typing an address, the tab disappears as if it never existed. Don't know how to replicate it, as it is random and happens just often enough to disturb me. Also not sure at which point the tab dissappears, while I am typing or when I hit enter.
It takes me emails a while to come in and takes very long to delete. This is a recent problem.

This is actually the second time I've had issues with Firefox with hardware acceleration enabled it's normally enabled by default when you install it I believe I've never checked it before but when I was playing the game listening to music it blue screened on me and I got a error code involving bit one memory and I did do a check with the Microsoft Windows diagnosis tool that's for checking memory problems and nothing actually came up I even did a command prompt sfc scannow now command to check and see if there's any problems and nothing came up either and I checked the dump file and apparently the dump file told me that it was Firefox that caused the blue screen of death to occur I think you guys may have maybe a corrupt file when it comes to your guys's hardware acceleration function being enabled it could have some issues with AMD I have a complete AMD system with a 5500 XT as well as a ryzen 3600 and 16 gigs of RAM and dual channel I'm not exactly sure what actually caused it but I just wanted to address it and give you guys some information if you if any users have encountered this issue too.

I recently installed windows 11 PRO N . I installed firefox and logged in . seems like I don't have audio in all sites except youtube . what I tried I tried other browsers .. they all work fine I tried opening firefox without ADD-ons and same issue many people suggest I should download media feature pack but it seems like I do not have that feature in the latest windows 11 update . and I cannot download it separetely . Every time i use firefox with even one tab open i end up with extremely high CPU usage-50% or more on average. It causes the exact type of issues that one would expect, and after spending a hours and hours over the last month looking for solutions and implementing anything promising, it hasnt improved. Ive done config edits, countless cache clears, memory snapshots via devtools, and many many other things that have been recommended to me and nothing has helped. running the browser in troubleshoot confirms the problem isnt related to extensions/add-ons or anything like that, because cpu numbers are identical to those seen normally. increasingly i am convinced that this has to be an issue on the mozilla side. reddit confirms i am not alone in struggling with this, not by a long shot.....pls help!

Hey, I don't know if it's just me but maybe it might be an update or something but Firefox will spike in RAM usage, I'm talking about 3GB for one tab seemingly out of nowhere, and it's not website specific, it could a YouTube video, or Meet, it also doesn't matter whether the tab is active or not, the spike happens to any tab even background tabs and Firefox basically becomes unusable. I've restarted the browser, removed extensions nothing seems to help and my firefox is up to date.

Since few days I experienced a strange beaviour on my firefox:
if I press and keep pressed a key, say backspace or left arrow or just a letter key, then usually I see repetitions, e.g. fast erasing back, fast moving back and forward or just typing something like:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
In my gmail composer this does not happens anymore, and if I need to erase a word I need to repetitely press and relase backspace key.
I erased firefox and make a fresh install, via snap, with completely new profile, but the problem remains. It does not seem to appear on other places, for instance when typing this question everything is fine. If I use gmail with other browser (same pc) then all is fine.
I have ubuntu with all updates regurarly installed, uname -a give me Linux mypc 5.15.0-101-generic #111-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 5 20:16:58 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Firefox doesn't close correctly. PC on Windows 10 freezes up. When I go to Task Manger, I see Firefox has replicated sometimes as many as 5-10 times or more at same time. I close down the FF tabs, try again to open FF, freezes again, re-open Task Manager, and it has replicated again. Can't seem to find cause or solution. Any suggestions? I have tried uninstalling FF then re-installing, but that doesn't work. BTW, same exact thing happens with Chrome, Duckduck, or Edge (which I despise), which tell me it's an issue with my Windows 10 computer, not with FF. TIA.
