Recently I've had the Un-welcome experience of Scripts triggered on YouTube, which Over-ride my Installed extensions to Firefox.

I've had YouTube, somehow Disable extensions and refresh the webpage... Without my concent or even an option for concent!

I've even blocked the popup window, which triggers the script which performs this action within another extension... and within 7-10 days Youtube has by passed the bypass that i've employed...

In my opinion a web-browser which allowes for extensions to be installed and run... should Block any and All scripts which try to disable extensions!

I seriously hope this can be looked into asap... or someone in the community has a work around, as my work around (blocking hte window which triggres the script, which disables the extension....) was by-passed within 7-10 days...

I used to think myself a compettent net user, but i'm aged out atm... still if i'm unable to prevent this sh*t and manipulation within FireFox, I doubt the average user or the layman will have a chance in hell of being secure and keeping their chosen extensions running...

This needs looking into ASAP!

Hello 1) How can I stop Google pop-ups? Each time I open a homepage that requires a log-in, a Google pop-up is disturbing and presses me to log-in via Google. This is harassment. I do not want to be harassed. 2) Firefox support: Each time I would like to get an answer, that is what I want, when I ask for support, I have do a lot of work until I get the bottom to contact you. Time is money, for me too. Where is the direct button to ask? 3) When I got an answer from you, is there a way I can store my questions and your answers? I have Dark Reader installed and it works perfectly almost anywhere, but ironically, Firefox' support forum itself comes out all white regardless if it's on or off?

I'm on OpenSuse Leap 15.6 with KDE Plasma 5.27.11.

Hi! I've tried everything, from refreshing to troubleshoot mode, but it says the same thing, that every installation I try has been adborted due to it being corrupt. It even deleted my previous theme. I'm very stressed, could someone please help? I use Nobara Linux and will include screenshots of the following: My browser is also completely up to date, I just reinstalled. I also followed the guide it said for this issue and deleted extensions.json but couldn't find the others.

It also disappears when I download extensions after verifying and when I click to install again the button won't move before going to the actual add-ons area. Thanks!

Hello, I am experiencing an issue where the MetaMask extension in Firefox is blocking search results on DuckDuckGo. When I disable MetaMask, the search results load properly, but when it's enabled, they do not appear. This problem does not occur in other browsers like Brave.

I have tried:

   Disabling and re-enabling MetaMask.
   Adjusting Firefox's privacy settings.
   Running Firefox in Safe Mode (which fixes the issue but disables all extensions).

Is there a known compatibility issue between MetaMask and DuckDuckGo on Firefox? Any suggestions on how to fix this without having to disable MetaMask?

All of my addons are disabled and won't re-enable!

They all say "addon name" could not be verified for use in Nightly and has been disabled. See attachment clipboard00.jpg

If I try to install an addon from the recommended extensions settings (for example "return youtube dislike ") I get a message bubble stating "The Addon downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt. {OK!}" See attachment clipboard01.jpg

The message above about addons appearing to be corrupt happens if I go to any of my current addon pages and try to redownload them.

I am using Firefox as my default browser and today I find out that, as I was using Google ads to set up a campaign, and trying to see previews of my ads, Firefox was strongly lagging or sometimes I had to force it to close. Afterwards I used safari and everything was ok. It is useful to mention that I had dis-activated the ad blocker on Firefox. I use 136.0.2 edition and Mac 15.3.2.

very frustrated, and pissed at how programmers always screw things up that are working just fine by upgrading crap. Now, I have suddenly had all of my addons quit working, was forced to update my firefox. Nothing changed, and it still shows that I am using version 105, instead of the all-new, better and fancier, singing and dancing crap that is being forced upon me.

I have a very old version of Firefox (51.0.1 64-bit) on Windows 7 Pro. I know it's well out-of-date. It's not my "main" browser, but there are some things I use it for because there are (were) some handy old extension on it. For example there's an extension that simply copies any text I highlight, without my having to press CTRL-C. I find the "scrapbook" invaluable for saving info offline.

Yesterday everything was fine. Today ALL the extensions have been disable because "[extension] could not be verified for use in firefox and has been disabled". There is no option to enable them again.

I have backups of the extensions (xpi files), but firefox is telling me that they appear to be corrupted.

Is there any way to either enable the disabled extensions, or force firefox to reinstall then from my backups? I have toggled "xpinstall.signatures.required" to "false".

Neither of the two addons that bring up my Google calendar work anymore. They each bring up some goofy Google "workplace". It says I can log into my calendar, but when I try, it says it's sending me an authorization request, even though the "don't ask again" button is checked. I never get an request on my phone, just a "ding" announcement. Arrrggghhh...

How do I disable the signature verification for addons I downloaded myself and have used quite successfully for years with no problems until this new idiot rollout of settings I for some reason cannot disable? Do I just roll back to the last version or do I have to make changes in the config or is there a way to just delete entire requirement?

I have been using Linkman for over 15 years and have a very large collection of bookmarks. Is there anyway to enable it? I'd hate abandon Firebox as I do need this extension please help.

They are putting ads wantonly (may be by hackers) knowing that I will be using these types of You Tubes (PITRU SUKTHAM putting ads in order to affect my psyche "Putting a very old Man abandonment by their family and in death bed". Please stop all ads at least in these types of Veda Chants, Prayer songs.

Firefox says versions earlier than 115.13 will be impacted by the certificate expiration. I've updated to 115.21 My add-ons are still disabled. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/root-certificate-expiration

It seems many don't know or haven't noticed but merely running an esr branch (rather than a developer edition) will also give you the option to enable add-ons with expired certifications via about:config.

Anyway, the "legit" way isn't working.
