I have been a subscriber to Firefox for a number of years, while using a different proprietary VPN. I changed my VPN service to Mozilla VPN a few months ago paying a an additional fee for the service. I learned shortly after that Firefox had a built in VPN and sometimes it appears to me as if that's what I'm using. Question: Is "Firefox built-in VPN"the same program /service as "Mozilla VPN"? Should I in fact have paid an additional subscription fee? If so, I do not seem to have a record of the terms of this fee and how often it must be renewed. Could you please clarify this situation.

Firefox keeps telling me about a VPN, but I cannot find this or any way to use which corresponds to what I see on the screen. Help says "sign in with a Mozilla account", but I don't know what this means. Sign into what? Looking at the Mozilla site there is no way to register or create an account or tell if I already have one. I've signed up to emails etc but find no difference when I use Firefox. It qualifies - verions and UK - what am I missing?

I've just tried turning on the free VPN, but websites like Imgur are still detecting that my connection is from the UK and are blocking my access. I understand this shouldn't happen, and doesn't happen with other VPNs.

hello team, i got the popup when starting firefox today with vpn, but i cant find it on my firefox - was this just an information does not everyone has it now? maybe im blind too :D

I was not given a VPN setup on restarting Firefox, and have no VPN icon in my toolbar. I have tried using customise toolbar, but there is no VPN icon to add back. Version 150.0, automatically opened to "What's New in Firefox 150" on starting Firefox, just without a new VPN icon. Thanks

I am trying to comprehend the VPN button on the toolbar. It clearly has an "x" to close the vpn icon, but instead it brings it up. What is the "x" close icon intending to close?

Also, while I understand it is a useful tool, I do not understand why VPN is auto-added to the toolbar. That should be an option for the user. For most people it is just adding noise, or a few extra clicks to hide. I like the way Brave does it, handling it similarly to private browsing. Is there a way to use it this way?

Hi, I am on Firefox version 150, but I can't see the new free VPN button. I wanted to try it out, but I can't see it anywhere in my settings. Any advice would be appreciated.

Latest update shows a new built in Firefox VPN provided but there is not any icon etc to start. Nothing about it on my Firefox browser. I checked at " customize toolbar " and nothing for a VPN even there. I am from Turkiye. I need it . Thank you.

I'm signed in, firefox updated telling me all about the beta, I can turn on the VPN, however the VPN will not connect to any website I attempt to go to.

It's a feature I really want to use, and started using my firefox account for it. Do you have any recommendations?

What is the story on the VPN, a few weeks ago the previous versions new features banner said you have a new VPN option, my Firefox browser did not show the VPN button, today got a new update to 151.0 with a NEW whats new banner promoting the VPN option and I STILL do not get the VPN button. I checked customize toolbar and the VPN button is not there either.

WHY are you showing this as available when it is not ?
