Im not even sure if this is possible, but figured id post here rather than email FF support and clog up time. ~

I have a file i use on firefox, using the developer mode as a way to turn it into an extention but anytime i reboot my firefox it clears and i need to go into developer mode and make the file an extention on my browser once again. I was wondering if theres a way i can upload the file to my firefox, as an almost local/private extention just for me.

Its nothing malicious, simply helps me use a VPN to watch F1TV pro as im from the UK and it doesnt work here. The extention im working isnt made by me, and hasnt been approved by firefox to make it an extenion, maybe it violates some of their terms? not sure.

But i know its legit, and trust it myself its just a hassle to use. Id love some help here on if this is even possible!

The issue: I am trying to copy an equation from Wiki. Normally, Firefox gives a Math Context Menu (Show Math As, Math settings, ... ), but lately this menu no longer pops up. As the equation is of substantial size, I am not looking forward to type it manually in Word ... .

Is there a way to regain this context menu?

I never use the 'Bookmark this page' button in the location bar. Meanwhile it takes precious real estate in the small location bar (I have many extension buttons in the toolbar). Is there a way to hide or disable this button?

I have been fighting with Xfinity.com for too long now over a "rendering error occurred: invalid time value" message when I log in to their billing function for my account. I am using a Windows 7 PC with whatever Firefox version is the most current.

Among the responses from their "experts," I see something that has to do with "browser add-ons may be causing your problem."

I have looked at my Firefox settings > manage your extensions as well as settings > manage your plug-ins. Under Extensions enabled I have 2: Norton Safe Search and Norton Safe Web. Under Plug-Ins enabled I have OpenH264 Video Codec and Widevine Content Decryption Module. That's all. Could any of these be causing the problem?

Does this "rendering" error have anything to do with Javascript? (I thought Firefox did not support Java so never paid any attention). If it does relate to Javascript, how do I fix my Firefox browser settings to enable it for the Xfinity.com website to see if that fixes anything?

This is so incredibly discouraging.

On Firefox startup it asks me for my Master Password.

My problem is, that the popup window is only bound to one specific Firefox window and since I've got like 6 different Firefox windows, I have to every time click through all of them to find the one, that has the popup window attached to it. This is really annoying.

I thought there was an option to turn that popup window into a actual separate window of it self, but I can no longer find that option anywhere.

Is it still possible to do that? Or has this functionality been removed?

Firefox on my new HP Envy Lap top is hard to use. The text size in the title and menu bars is way too small. So I followed steps in "Support" to fix. Fine. But that made the bars full of empty space. The larger the text, the greater the wasted space. So I followed the steps in "Support" to get "compact mode", but the instructions fell short, as the step 7 says to click on the "density button", but there is no "density button" on my screen. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BUILD MY OWN BROWSER JUST TO GET A USABLE PAGE PRESENTATION. I was a Netscape user and adopted Firefox as soon as it came out. I just can't believe Mozilla is forcing me to use Edge. The presentation on Edge has none of Firefox's problems. PLEASE, SOMEONE FIX FIREFOX ON LAPTOPS!

How can I get my F12 shortcut to open DevTools?

From looking at https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/devtools-user/keyboard_shortcuts/index.html it seems that for some reason unclear to me the first opening must be manual or using this weird keyboard combination.

I admit that it is possible that something went wrong with general OS, not sure how to diagnose it. ctrl+shift+i still works for now.

With previous versions of Firefox (before 108.0.1) I was able to make changes with about:config to allow a default domain id .com to be added to my Internet query. Example I enter cnn and would get cnn.com and assess the website. WIth 108.0.1 I enter cnn and Firefox cannot find the site. The about:config changes I made are:

 set browser.urlbar.autofill to false, set keyword.enabled to false and set browser.fixup.alternate.enabled to true.

With 108.0.1 how can this be implemented like in the past versions? Thanks

Few days after installing a strange border started appearing around the app unless I'm in full screen which I don't like to use. What's happening and how can I stop this?

I have the setting: "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" disabled, but it still jumps to the new tabs when I open links in them.

How do I stay on the same page while opening links in other tabs? I have tried CTRL + LEFT-CLICK, CENTER-CLICK, and RIGHT-CLICK menu to open in new tab.

I just checked to make sure Firefox was up to date.

When I open a new tab it always opens next to the source eg to the right of the tab i am using. Which is great and I prefer this.

But when I click a link from outside firefox to open a web page it always opens on the far right tab. Is there a way to change this so it opens to the right of current tab like normal?

What happened to the screenshot option? I just used it a couple days ago and now it's gone. I can't find it under options, or settings. and it doesn't show if I right-click on a webpage.

When I close Firefox and open it again the cookie deletion exception list is empty. The issue happens on my macOS/Linux/Windows installations.

I am using custom settings for the history. I setup Firefox to delete the history when I close it but I selected only Cookie, Cache and Offline websites data. All the other options (i.e. website settings) are unchecked.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone, and a very good year to you all!

When I launch Firefox, it displays only in a small square top left (about 1/4the of the screen width). It shows the "reduce" windows button. Clicking on this button centers the display. Clicking again gives the full screen display. Annoying as it shifts my attention to something useless.

If I leave a page on Firefox, and start another program, coming back to Firefox will be normal for about 5 minutes. Afterward it happens again Could not find any command to fix it. If no solution, will uninstall Firefox and reinstall it

I am on Windows 10 updated, Avast programs.
