I'm running Firefox 102.4.0 ESR (32 bit) on a Win-7 (32 bit) PC.

It works fine. I visit a LOT of websites, it works fine.

Until just now. I'm trying to bring up namecheap.com (a domain registrar) and I'm getting this message:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.namecheap.com. security library failure. Error code: SEC_ERROR_LIBRARY_FAILURE

I'm not given any option to alter any FF settings or to otherwise create an exception to "trust" this site to be able to access it.

I've read where changing security.pki.crlite_mode (currently 3) to something else (like 0) and I've tried that, and unless I have to close and restart FF for that to take effect (which I have not done) then that setting doesn't fix the issue.

What exactly is going on here? Why is only THAT SITE giving me problems?

Cannot get new norton password manager to work with new Firefox change " Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it" Firefox asks Norton PW manager to go to another webpage for a redirect and it just spins.

Please fix, I need to get in my Norton PW manager for passwords.

mailto link action of browser does not work since last update, now it only shows firefox as the only option, you cannot specify anything else. if is not going to work, then delete the feature. firefox is going downhill

Hello,

yesterday i closed my firefox with 4 open windows. Altough firefox is set to open all tabs and windows at startup, only 3 of 4 reopened again. I can not find the fourth one in "recently closed windows" and nowhere else.

Are there options? For example scrolling through the "window-history" in the Sync-Account?

I can no longer download any type of document using Firefox. I tried to trouble shoot this myself, and when I go into Firefox Preferences and try to change Downloads/ Save files to... it doesn't allow me to change to choose another location. It says it is downloading to my "Downloads" folder, but nothing is being downloaded there. I am not receiving any kind of error message, it's just that when I click on something to download from a site or online application, nothing happens. Any insights or suggestions? I'm flummoxed.

Opening videos on youtube in a new tab does not work. When I try to start a video, it never starts. Tried it for 3min without any result, refreshin does not help either. To start any video now I have to directly open in the same tab

Hi there, recently whenever I visit a website or search on google or another search engine jumbled up words are displaying. The words contain letters which are jumbled up so it is impossible to understand what the word says. I have attached a screenshot explaining my issue better. If you see in the screenshot the jumbled up words are shown in bold.

Please could you help fix this issue?

I was using firefox fine yesterday and days before. Suddenly since I'm currently at odds with google over my account, I'm having difficulties accessing the site in my firefox browser, which was never the case. I do suspect foulplay on google's part, since were currently at odds, of course, but I'm trying to be certain. What's going on? this wasn't happening before, so why now all of a sudden? I'm redirected to this page I'm redirected to this page, among others, when trying to get to the site, what gives?

This problem is causing my whole PC to stutter and LAG whenever I want to play games

I tried to close it one by one by "end task" option but still, every time I open Firefox again these tabs or whatever they are are back and using memory more than any browser

Firefox has been updated on my PC at least 100 times. It ALWAYS brings up the screen asking me to verify if thiis program can make changes to my computer, Why? Is v 102.1 the latest? I don't know I see other comments about other versions.

And so many more issues I am about to pull every last hair out of my head. I don't even know how your Bookmarks work, nothing like I've ever seen. And, why does Firefox Browser open in different pages, sometimes. I'll have 2 rows or 3 rows of add-ons. Sometimes the font is so tiny I cannot read it, other times it's just fine.

I know what you are going to do. You'll give me some instructions with words that mean nothing to me. Then you'll provide articles I can read, and they mean nothing to me either. I AM NOT an IT person. I just want to turn on my computer and have it work properly JUST ONCE! Wouldn't that be great, then maybe twice in a row!

I thoiught i would be happy with Firefox, but I'm not. Just like I'm not happy with Windows platforms from 7 onward. Instead of making things easier for the everyday user all you do is make things more confusing and complex. I read some of the questions on this website and I don't even know what they're talking about.

I just want Firefox to WORK

There are some web sites that do not recognize the automatically entered user id and password. But they do if I type them. I don't have this problem in Edge. What can I do to fix this?

ForecastFox has worked well for me over the years on three WinX systems but I recently got my wife a new ASUS laptop that runs Win 11 and now I can't set the location on ForecastFox for her system. All I get when I try is the eternally circling wheel. I couldn't get any help on Mozillazine where ForecastFoc has a page. Can anybody suggest a remedy?

I do freelance work for a nonprofit that uses Constant Contact for its bulk fundraising emails. I've been doing this for at least 3 years using Firefox, but suddenly, something weird is happening: in any text block I insert, all the words run together as if I'm not hitting the spacebar. I'm communicating regularly with Constant Contact support, and they've even escalated the issue...but nothing seems to work. (It often looks fine on their end, but not on mine.) Unfortunately this ONLY happens with Firefox; using Edge and Chrome, the words come out fine. CC is still trying to solve the problem, but thought I'd bring it here to see if anyone else has any ideas.

Hey, Twitch dosnt work for me (error #4000) and neither do Reddit videos. Pictures and Youtube works and I could not find a solution online. Thank you for providing this awsome browser. please keep fighting for privacy.

My volume on Youtube is often too low. Some time back I got a java script that fixed it. I had to do an F12 and paste it in somewhere and then I got a little rectangle at top left which said something like 'volume'. Click on that and up went the volume. Click again, up more and so on. It was good. Sometimes on things like perhaps Bitchute it wouldn't work. It would actually switch all the volume off. I'd refresh the page to fix that. Anyway: it suddenly disappeared today. The little rectangle is gone. I can't up my volume on Youtube any more. I got something from the web, a javascript, and pasted it into 'console' after F12 but i got error messages. I'm clueless. Don't know where to look for my original, see if it still there. Don't know how to troubleshoot. Don't know any other way to get the volume up. See error message on the console whenever I go there, don't know what to do about them. FYI I'll post the first few lines of them: Unknown property ‘-moz-osx-font-smoothing’. Hi there, I keep getting an error message when I try to login to some secure access websites that I use for work purposes.

I get the following error report with no code #:

(*this always fails).

This is only an issue on my laptop. If I use another computer I can access the website without issue.

How to I fix this issue on my laptop?

i updated firefox yesterday and since then i have had nothing but problems. it freezes, hangs, stops responding and basically wont work. if i click on a tab, it wont open. if im typing in something on a website, it stops typing. if i try to close firefox, i cannot. i have restarted firefox as well as my computer a dozen times. NOTHING WORKS!!! This is a serious problem for me. Short of uninstalling firefix and installing a different browser, what do i do?

After opening 4 or 5 web pages I can open no more and I have to restart to continue. I have tried clearing the cache and that didn't work. I also set it to clear the cache when I close the program. That didn't help either. I have used Firefox for years without problems. How can I go back to normal function?
