I need to find where all my bookmarks are on my computer so I can restore them. My operating system is Windows 7. Even when I try to restore through import/backup and it says it was successful there are none of my saved bookmarks. Can you help in specific steps how I can get these back? From what I read there should be a Firefox file on my computer where these are all saved. Thanks!!

For the last 2-3 day I have been experiencing a box that asks for my signature each time I go to a new website. I can't move the box. I can't screenshot it. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

I posted this in the Android section a couple of days ago, but since I've had no responses I thought I should try it here in the hope it'll catch someone's eye. Hope that's acceptable.

Can I fine-tune sync the way I want?

I would love to be able to sync bookmarks and passwords between two desktops yet sync just the bookmarks to a third device: an Android phone. Why? Because while I want my bookmarks available everywhere, I don't want sensitive passwords on a device that leaves home.

But I don't see a way to do that. I've tried, and I find the passwords end up being synced no matter how I configure the settings.

Nor, apparently, can I export the bookmarks and passwords to a file, strip out the passwords, and import the bookmarks alone to the phone--what I was hoping could be a workaround. I gather one can't import to mobile Firefox. Have to sync.

So I'm back where I started: unable to do what I want to do.

I got a new desktop computer and can't access firefox. My existing account is still under my old email (ddconne@q.com) and has been decommisioned. My new email is ddconne@myctl.net. I cannot sign in because I forgot my password for q.com which no longer exists, so I can't receive an email to change password. I am at a loss how to fix this... Can you help me please. I had sent you my new email back a few months ago so I thought it had been changed to myctl.net but it is not. help please, I am so frustrated. thx for your help

An old website appears in the browser when I log into the new website. The new site is "www.thestoneshop.net". What comes up in the browser is "Custom | Foothills Countertop | Northglenn". The old website.

When I see a message to update, I always do it immediately. A few weeks ago during an update the browser disappeared and wouldn't launch. I had no option but to uninstall with Revo Uninstaller Pro.

When I installed again, I signed in and immediately selected sync and all my bookmarks were recovered but also Chrome bookmarks which I want to keep separately. No complaint, I just deleted all those Chrome bookmarks.

Had to install all my Browser extensions. I have whitelisted a few websites to save cookies from those special websites like online Banking and got an auto popup message "You are using an untrusted browser"

I had to use my phone to get a code from the Bank to continue. I use Biometrics to log into my Bank accounts and also many other websites I have installed on my phone.

Then I got another message and email from the Banks verifying I have a Trusted Browser.

Firefox is my default browser on my phone and my Laptop and always will be. Thanks for allowing me to write this message. I want to confirm this is not a complaint.

This Brazilian Portuguese dictionary, licensed as MPLv2 and published by user "jhltmnn", contains no contact information and no link to the source code.

The grammar-checking extension "Verificador Ortográfico para Português do Brasil", licensed as GPLv2, has a link that redirects to a SourceForge category listing. It is nowhere to be found there. It has a contact email, and I've sent a message to them asking for the missing information.

The MPLv2 license requires disclosure of the source code, and so does the GPLv2. What can Mozilla do about it?

I was on my laptop W 11. Shut down opened up again and all my old firefox data was all gone. no pw no bookmarks no history. Shut down restarted etc. Some strange new profile window opened up, which is awful, showed up how do I get back the old one? Thank you

I got a message in my add-ons that an Extension called VNNet was disabled I was not able to get a quick screenshot of it, but I dont recall installing an extension like that

I play a game on Facebook - and i go to it from a link in my email - but today it says your browser does not support WebGL - this happened a month ago but I forget how it got fixed. :-(

it worked yesterday - and I checked for Firefox updates and it is up to date. last time this happened - I did read an article online that suggested to go to put about:support in the address window and under General it said to uncheck standard performance and to click on "use accelerated performance" - that fixed it.

This time when I go to about:support - "Use Hardware acceleration when available" is already checked. How do I fix it this time? and why does this keep happening every so often?

I have downloaded Firefox through the official website and I have installed it through the terminal for Chromebook's Debian Linux.

I have a Chromebook c214ma with a Intel Celeron 4020 with 4 GB ram every single browser on my machine works properly just Firefox keeps closing and crashing
