Hello,

My Firefox browser is crashing a lot after the recent updates. Not really sure what is causing the crashes but anytime I open any websites or try to do some work on the browser is resulting into unexpected crash. I have submitted several crash reports, but haven't had any solutions to the problem.

Can you please help us troubleshoot the issue and provide us with a solution if any?

Since the OS upgrade, any portal that I open (especially the ones that I have my user id and password saved) crashes. One crash report can be found at https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/7d671357-2d98-4bbc-b177-4029e0221221

I have tried disabling add-ons/ exensions, disabling auto-fill, downgrading security, reinstalling (even the ESR edition), deleting Firefox files from the library/application_support - but it doesn't simply work. Not sure if this is an OS issue.

Any ideas would really help. Getting the below info on the about:crashes each time:

Hi, my google ads don't display correctly in google searches - can anyone help please? Mac M1 / Latest Firefox

Formatting is fine for the first second after the search, then chanegs and text displays over the images in the ades and is unreadble, unless I hover my moude over the ad.

My browser displays many websites, emails, etc. using a strange garbled font (see attached image for reference).

I already checked the preference setting for allowing websites to select their own fonts. The issue also persists in Troubleshooting mode. I have also used the "Inspect element" tool when this has occurred, also to no avail. I imagine at this point the only real solution is to delete and reinstall Firefox, but I'd love to hear if someone has another solution! Thanks!

Note that text in bold / italics often shows up just fine. I can also copy-paste any of this text and it displays correctly.

Hello, I am a user on Mac! I am having an issue with moving tabs fluidly. Yes, moving tabs inside the window is easy but when I move them outside the window, it makes me a little uncomfortable. In the images and video I have sent, you can see that an unnecessary thumbnail of the tab pops up even when I move the tabs inside the window. This makes it harder to know if I am even moving the tab in the first place. Then it takes like 2-5 seconds for the new window of the individual tab I moved to appear. If whatever I said is quite confusing which I apologize for, I would very much recommend taking a look at Google Chrome, the browser I don't prefer, however, try moving the tabs around and outside one window and creating more windows with individual tabs. It feels more fluid or swift and easy to handle. Compare that to Firefox and a big difference is to be seen. I am concerned about this issue really because I am replacing my previous browsers, not only Google Chrome but browsers like Edge too which are capable of not having that issue, with Firefox instead and hopefully Firefox can have this capability. I also multitask a lot so I usually encounter this problem on Firefox. I hope this is fixed and am sure it will help a lot of users! Thank you! The timezone on my Gmail and a few other sites automatically changes to Africa/Abidjan time on Firefox. This is not an issue with my device as I've checked the timezone on system preferences and it is correctly set to my local time. Additionally, the timezone appears to be correct on other browsers. I checked Firefox on another device and found the same problem.

I've been utilizing the security protocol app DUO for work purposes for the last year with Firefox, no issues. I just recently updated to 105.0.1 and received the following error message when my DUO was prompted:

• "We're sorry, access is not allowed with Firefox due to security concerns." - with a sad face.

It then shows me a list of compatible browsers and FF being the only one not allowed to use the DUO authentication. I've attempted to clear my browsers cache, fire up FF once more only to arrive at the same messaging. I've uploaded a screenshot of what I ran into.

This has to be some sort of error as I've been utilizing FF and DUO together successfully with no issues over the last year.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Today, I noticed that fonts on sites look different than normal. At first I noticed that font looked smaller, but zoom is set to actual size. Then I noticed that while on a site with a black background the text was displaying as black also, making it impossible to read. I looked through the preferences and everything pertaining to fonts and colors appears to still be set to default. Next thing I tried was opening the same site in private window. While in the private window, the font and color appears as it should.

Any ideas how to fix this?

The issues I am facing with outlook mail seems to have occurred within the last 3 months. I have used outlook in Chrome and there is no issue. I have gone to the Microsoft site and there are several complaints that Outlook is not usable with Firefox. On my company machine, I limit my personal email to Firefox.

Other web pages seem to be fine, just outlook mail. I use Firefox for most of my testing & personal and Chrome for corporate browsing.

The issues start occurring after about 5 min, within the last month. I am a MacOS user and I have v.104. The issues face range from not limited emails listed, missing icons, javaScript drop-downs not working, not being able to delete emails, not being able to restore emails.

When I refresh the page, more recently Outlook crashes. My cache for Outlook is around 13-14Mb. When I clear the cache, things are fine for about 5-10 min. Using Firefox 103.0 on a Mac running Monterey. Since updating to FF 100.0 or possibly 101.0, the BBC News website's videos won't play. I've tried turniing off all privacy/security add-ons and settings but still nothing. Just a grey rectangle with the BBC logo in it (see screenshot).

Safari can play them though. Any ideas?

Hi, I find that recently, my Firefox 102 (on MacOS 12.4, 2019 MBP 16) no longer displays colors correctly in pdf files. For example, in the attached screenshot I compare page 4 of https://arxiv.org/pdf/2201.08431.pdf seen in Firefox and Chrome. Could anyone give me some idea how to fix this issue?

Because of my work I have to use a specific car rental company but recently I am unable to log in to my account on their website via Firefox. Safari, which I prefer not to use, is no problem but if I try to log in using Firefox it gets stalled on the spinning wheel. I have an ad blocked but I had already turned it off for accessing that particular site, I think I just got a browser update, it just doesn't want to log in. Anyone have any ideas? I'm on a Macbook, OS 12.4. Firefox says it's up to date, version 102.0.1

The video's play fine, but when I click off the browser into another app, the video begins to lag and stutter.

I've tried to mess with the Performance settings to no avail - also disabled extensions with the same result.
