No matter how I try, I can't get Firefox to save any of my passwords om my brand-new Mac computer. Nor can I reset my primary password, as I was told this might help. It didn't; I couldn't reset or change. Indeed, I don't even remember ever having chosen a primary password. I've been through all sorts instructions, but get stuck being informed that my efforts have been unsuccessful. Would be most grateful for any help. (I never had these sort of problems with my 12 year old Mac.) Bosse, Stockholm

I've used Weebly for website building for many years. After the latest Firefox upgrade, the Weebly editor display labels are overwritten with other text, as in the attached images. I've checked on Chrome, Safari and Vivaldi browsers, none of which have the same problem. Opening in safe mode has the same effect.

I am trying to remove a profile from Firefox and this message is above the profile I want to delete.

This profile is in use in another application and it cannot be deleted.

I have searched the Mozilla support site and can't figure out what application is using that profile.

I'm using: Macbook Pro Mac OS Sonoma 14.0 Firefox v 126.0 (64-bit)

I have pictures that are slanted. Chrome, and Safari don't do this, so I know it is something with Firefox. Every once and awhile Firefox also has little square dots that appear s’ for ‘Firefox’

The menu bar at the top of Firefox is extremely small. The size is about 1 mm. I have tried all the supposed fixes and none of them work. I have a new Macbook pro using Firefox.

Is there any way to block media mini players from popping up on websites entirely?

This is what I've tried, I found this in another article here.

   media.autoplay.block-event.enabled = true
   media.block-autoplay-until-in-foreground 

It doesn't autoplay anymore, but it still pops up in the bottom right corner of the screen. I don't mean Firefox's picture in picture, I'm talking about the floating mini player most websites use. It's thoroughly annoying, especially when you have your pop-up settings set to off.

BROKEN: Videos automatically play upon landing on a website. I don't want video autoplay. I had that FIXED at one point, but with the new update, all of my settings were discarded, and now I'm back to square one. I do not want video autoplay! Now, on to the next question: many complaints have been lodged on various 'help' pages and forums describing the same problem; my question is, in light of all of these complaints, why hasn't Firefox FIXED this problem and issued an update with the repair patches?! On my version of FF, Mac 126, all video controls in settings have disappeared. WHY? Where did they go? Not that they worked anyway because we had to muck about in about:config with various patches WHICH NO LONGER WORK ON MY MAC! Why is there not a simple ON/OFF switch, in Settings, for those of us who want the choice?! When are FF boffins going to FIX this to our satisfaction, with a WORKING, simple-selectable solution? I await a reply from a knowledgeable Firefox technician, one who preferably works on this part of the browser, please. Help me understand, or make me happy, preferably both.

I'm running the latest version of Firefox (126.0) on an iMac, OS 14.4.1. Starting a couple days ago, i was no longer to (consistently) minimize Firefox browser windows by double-clicking on the browser window title bar. I'm able to minimize the window INCONSISTENTLY and only very infrequently via double-clicking, but with no obvious pattern. This problem only occurs with Firefox. I have no problem minimizing any other browser or application windows.

My Mac OS settings are always set to "Double-click a window's title bar to minimize."

I can minimize via Command-M, but i prefer to double click. I vaguely remember this occurring on another iMac of mine some years ago, but don't remember if i found a fix, or if it went away on its own.

when i fill in a form on a site (example cvs) it will not send and my saved payment information shows when i click into the field but will not stay- i must continually manually fill in my payment information

I'm considering switching to Firefox for my primary browser BUT once I log in to AOL to check my mail, the print is tiny and cut off top and bottom of each letter. This is not a new problem, but I'm using Firefox more now and still have to use another browser OR another device to read my email. I am attaching a screen capture of what it looks like.

Hey there. To get straight to the point, whenever I am watching a YouTube video on Firefox in full screen, every so often the screen goes black then slowly fades back in. I have no idea how to fix this issues and it is not my computer that is causing it (doesn't happen on other browsers, my computer was tested for a variety of problems and nothing was wrong, etc). I have also looked through Firefox Reddit help pages and the support articles on the Firefox support website but have found nothing to help. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated! When I'm in full screen mode, The Apple, "Firefox" "File" "Edit" "View" "History" "Bookmarks" "Tools" etc menu bar shows up at the top and won't disappear. On my iMac Pro, it doesn't show up. i.e. Off.

I can't figure out what is the setting to make sure it does not appear. I went digging everywhere and can't figure it out. If you could tell me what config, etc I'm missing I'd appreciate it.

My firefox is up to date: 126.0 (64-bit)

On my Macbook Air M1, Firefox's UI and default scaling is perfect on my Retina display, but if I move the window to my external Philips 1080P monitor, some - but not all - interface elements are very over-sized, which makes Firefox unuseable on any external monitor I connect. (I have tested this with multiple other monitors)

I try to sign-in to my KP.org account and I get a white page with the message (Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.) I called KP and they said there was nothing wrong with their site. I added the URL to the cookies exception list with no result. I tried to paste the exact URL of the sign-in page into my bit-warden and it said it exceeded the 1000 character limit. I can sign-in on Chrome, but I prefer to use Firefox. any ideas?

I am trying to get to the "clear cookies and Caches" which should be under Privacy & Security.

When I go to preferences, i can move to Privacy & Security or the other headings, but I cannot scroll down any of the pages under the headings. When I am on the Privacy & Security page the scroll down arrow takes me to Sync heading etc.

How do I fix this? I am having to go to the cookies to clean up as I am having another scroll down issue with an app that is important to me. In that I cannot scroll down a list as the dark side bar flicks on and off immediately.

I am on a MacBook Air.
