when I view a stock quote in Google Finance If I move my Windows cursor into the price chart and move the chart cursor to a new date or time the tab will hang. I can no longer move the chart cursor. Reloading the tab will no longer work. I have to delete the tab and then use History to reload it. There is no problem as long as I keep the Windows cursor out of the stock chart area.

I am running Windows 11 up to date and Firefox 116.02. This has been a problem for a long time.

Some of the scripts are not loading or working properly, like clicking boxes and notifications on some sites. Most recently this happened on the New Statesman website, I doubt they haven't optimized their site for Firefox. Previously I encountered this on Gerogetown University's Management System platform, which according to IT should be fine with Firefox. I removed all the extensions, cleared the cache and cookies, tried troubleshooting mode, even reinstalled Firefox to no avail. I accept all cookies. Settings are default. The issue is specific to Firefox, Edge works fine. Please help, I don't want to migrate back to Edge.

I login into xfinity email everyday to check my email. Today I am getting the error message and do not know how to resolve. I have logged into the same site with Google and Edge browsers with no problem.

What do I do?

I was trying to login to my grocery store with a link they gave me to save on gas and got this message. I have had similar problems with other sites as well. Why? What do I have to do to stop receiving this error message?

When Firefox auto-updates it slows down my machine so much that I stop being able to move my cursor and it often crashes other apps that I have running.

I have a relatively new Windows machine running the latest OS, so I doubt that's the problem.

Since the updates never seem to be anything critical and if there are new features I don't know about them because they've been drowned out by the unwelcome advertising that Firefox hijacks my experience to shove in my face, the obvious solution seems to be to turn off auto-update and just do it manually, when it is convenient for me.

However if there is a critical security update, I don't want to miss it, so I'd rather keep auto-updates on.

Is there something I can do to keep Firefox from horking my computer once a month, or do I have to revoke the auto-update privilege?

Over the last couple of weeks the Firefox Browser will not load the tab page (e.g. Washington Post, New York times) and says it cannot find the web site. I tried troubleshooting mode and then resorted to refresh which only made it worse. It got to the point where the browser wouldn't even open the mozilla.org page correctly.

I finally turned my internet security service off and the browser began to work better, but getting my tab page to open sometimes comes up with a "we cannot find the site" and a "try again" button which never works.

I tried using Safari to go to the same web sites with no problems.

My wife uses Firefox on her I pad and her tablet and says firefox browser is giving her problems.

I have Firefox 116.02 (the browser also seemed to have problems updating and I was getting Firefox failed to update messages.

Has Firefox done something to make the browser unstable on Apple OS systems?

I am forwarding a domain (Domain 1) to a page within a website (Domain 2). It works on other browsers but not Firefox.

I have done this successfully before, forwarding a domain (Domain 3) to a different page with the website (Domain 2).

I have tried clearing cache/cookies, refreshing Firefox, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, using incognito mode on Firefox. Nothing works.

Why does the page load successfully in other browsers, but not Firefox?

Help, Noticed that FF 116.0.2 is freezing when I go to "https://www.rpmabq.com/houses-rent" . I have to use Task Manager (Win 10 )to close FF. Also Pandora (https://www.pandora.com/station/play/) is not working correctly. Tried Troubleshoot mode and still happens. Both sites work fine with Chrome.

No problems before update to FF ver 116.0.2.

Google sponsored links (those on top of a Google search for a product) not working in Firefox, works in Chrome and Edge. The example link below uses googleadservices.com, which appears to be the problem. When trying to load that link, Firefox does nothing. The same link plugged into either Chrome or Edge works fine. This is a REAL PITA!

Firefox 116.0.2 64bit on Windows 11 Pro 22621.2134

I noticed today that a video hosted on the website Reddit has subtitles on it. When I view the video in other browsers it does not have subtitles. Why are subtitles being generated in Firefox for this video? Is there a way I can disable these subtitles? While often useful, the subtitles in this case just get in the way.

I am running the latest version 116.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 11, but this same issue occurs on my Windows 10 machine.

I have been using Firefox for a few years now.

When I watch a video that has a popout screen and then close the video, it crashes Firefox. This has occurred since I began using Firefox.

Hello! Today, my firefox has started crashing after a couple seconds from when I open emails. I tried running in troubleshoot mode and again experienced crashes. In addition, I scanned for viruses with Malwarebytes and tried the "refresh firefox" feature to reset my settings to default. What else could I do to fix this error?

Two, maybe three updates ago, not sure how many since there seem to have been quite a few the past couple of months, the PDF option in the Print Friendly & PDF extension stopped working. Period. It's still usable for deleting content on a page but when the button to send it to Adobe as a PDF is clicked, a graphic with a large down arrow is shown with a scroll bar that at the end says Download Your PDF. Clicking that brings up a box that says: The page you were looking for doesn't exist.

You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved.

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information

I've removed and reloaded Print Friendly a couple of times in case that was the source of the trouble. No change.

I reinstall my windows 11 yesterday and since I cannot log in office. I go through the identification process, then once done I am back to the sign in page.

On chatGPT, when I go to login, I got the error message "We ran into an issue while signing you in, please take a break and try again soon."

Both websites were working fine last week. Also on the same computer I can access these websites using chrome. I tried to clear the cache and the cookies, disable extensions (ublock + cuberghotVPN), lowering security options like disable DNS security and disable tracking security, I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, but I can't fix this issue.

I am a bit out of ideas to try. Anything else I can do to get access back to these websites?

Attempting to attach any file crashes the browser - Version 116.0.2 (64-bit)

Any website. File explorer window doesn't even appear. It just crashes instantly.

Ever since the last update this website after running for a few minutes gets choppy and slow then crashes. I have to restart my computer to clear the problem. Running Windows 10.

Running Windows 11 on a Dell XPS 8930. Internet download speed is 100Mb/sec. With every update of Firefox it seems to take longer and longer to launch Firefox and load open windows and tabs. Several minutes of the back and forth ball on each tab. I can launch Chrome and its windows and tabs load almost immediately. What can I do to improve Firefox performance, short of abandoning it?
