I am trying to get rid of the fullscreen animation i have tried changing full-screen-api.transition-duration.enter and full-screen-api.transition-duration.leave to 0 0 but the animation still plays

For the last few days Firefox keeps dropping off as the default browser and seems to be defaulting to the Avast Secure Browser thats installed instead.

I keep changing it back via both Firefoxs settings and via Windows default settings but within 10 minutes it falls off again.

How can I make sure Firefox stays as my default browser?

Picture in Picture is an awesome feature and i love that Firefox comes with it by default.

However I do wish for one thing. So we can lock and "click through" the picture in picture, instead of our mice being able to click it by mistake when doing other things (such as grinding on an MMO or something.)

Is there any way to get these options in the near future? It'd be great to play some games when watching a video during slow times! Thank you!

Right now i love my HDR content in most scenarios, except on a few sites where its just bad. Is it possible to be able to block it on certain sites where you dont want to apply it?

Hello, I use Duck Duck Go as a default search engine, with Google and others as alternatives. Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Hi, I am experiencing an issue with desaturated icons in the toolbar and tabs of Firefox. I don't think any extesion may be causing this problem and i have already tried reinstalling and resetting Firefox, but this did not resolve the problem.

Hi all, For the last few months I've had a persistent issue with my Firefox browser on Windows where I have to continually toggle the 'Ask to save passwords' option so that Firefox fills my username and passwords automatically, gives me the option to save them automatically and so on.

Everytime I click the option on, it works for maybe a few days before I have to yet again toggle it on even though I haven't done anything like close my Firefox window, restart my computer or any similar thing. My Firefox and laptop are also on their latest updates and regardless this issue has continued through multiple update cycles.

It is very frustrating as I'm applying for jobs regularly so manually having to use alternate ways to autofill my details is annoying - I know a password manager is probably the best solution but regardless this is still a very annoying issue.

For many years I have used the ability to set shortcuts to website on the Firefox home tab, using the method given at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page#w_pin-unpin-or-remove-a-shortcut.

However, today, when I try to edit a shortcut link, I do not get the 3 dots menu by right clicking on a shortcut tile.

Is this a recent change, a bug, an issue with my installation (which has been stable for many years)?

I am using Firefox 127.0 (64 bit) on Windows (Windows 11, all up to date).

How can I change the defalt filename of inserted image from clipboard? I use firefox with local interface language but I don't want it to influence on filename of inserted images. I don't wanna give any clues in work chats, forums etc. which language I use in my browser.

I am running a dual monitor setup. My primary monitor's resolution is 3440x1440, and my secondary is 3840x2160.

The text on my Firefox toolbars and menus looks very clear on my secondary monitor (3840x2160), it looks as I would expect it to; however, on my primary monitor (3440x1440) it's smaller which makes it pixelated meaning it's much less clear. I've been using Firefox for about an hour and I'm already bugged enough to post here.

Due to the different resolutions I need to keep the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx in about:config to the default -1.0 so the windows scale as per my Windows 11 settings.

i use Firefox as my browser, but AT&T Yahoo is my internet provider so I use a Yahoo home page and Yahoo mail. Last week they did an update, now every time my laptop goes to sleep I have to re log into Myyahoo to get my mail and my home page. It also seems to log me out of some of my other forums and websites at the same time. I'm not sure how to fix this in settings so any help would be great.

I tried redownloading Firefox after I saw that i was unable to download any extenstions/add-ons. Anytime i try to download something from the firefox browser, the download fails or gets cancelled. I never changed any settings, how can i fix this?

There should be a feature where you can copy the link to particular text on a webpage (much like when you click on a Google result for a certain part of an article). Where do I suggest features for Firefox?

My default search engine is Duck Duck Go. I frequently use a VPN.

I am usually in North America and want to search sites in North America. When I run a search by typing a search term in Firefox, I get results beginning in UK, and I see that a blue toggle switch has been set to UK. (See image.)

This started 2-3 weeks ago.

How do I set things so that my searches begin in North America?

I have checked "about:config" preferences and do not see anywhere that UK is specified. I don't see a region preference setting, either.

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

Win11 Version 126.0.1 (64-bit)

When I open Firefox these days, the window is so big that the toolbar is barely visible. I have to put the cursor in just the right little spot to pull the window down and resize it. It is NOT full screen or maximized, it just opens a huge window that's too far up on the screen. I just want to resize the default window that it opens with.

Hello, it seems that cycling through tabs in most recently used order is not working for me. I am running version 126.0.1 on Windows and I have the "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" option enabled on my settings page. I have only noticed this issue in the past week or so, and so I am wondering if this feature is broken in the most recent release and if there is anything I can do to get the feature to work again until the bug is fixed in a future version.
