Firefox wont connect to internet because it requires a proxy, I have set it to NO proxy several times and each time I log on it goes back to needing a proxy

I downloaded Moz 5 and when I did it wouldn't connect to the internet because it required a proxy. My laptop is set to not use proxy. I went to settings and changed it to NO proxy and then it connected. Everytime I sign on I have to go into Tools and change it and I know before I got instructions on how to change permanently.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
