Okay. So I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook from flathub, but it keeps crashing. I open a new tab: it crashes. I close a tab: it crashes. I don't open or close anything: it crashes. I don't touch anything: it crashes.

I've says that either my theme or one of my add-ons is causing the crashes but I removed my theme and it still crashes and I can't remove any add-on because it crashes if I try to open a new tab.

Now, did/does anyone else have this problem or am I just stupid and missing a very obvious thing.

Hi,

First, your question is related to the desktop Firefox, right? I just see "Android" in the OS field and that's a bit confusing. (I'll assume desktop for the following.)

Second, you can check how Firefox behaves with extensions disabled by running it in Troubleshoot Mode. Please see this article on how to do that.

Third, crash reports would help in understanding what's going on. Please follow the steps below to provide us with crash IDs:

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted (and Unsubmitted, if any) Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Thank you for your help!
