I don't know what happened, it just went blank and I have none of my settings now, I may have lost thousands of bookmarks. How do I restore it to the day before

ret2gowv, you might be able to find the missing user data in another profile. See this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recover-user-data-missing-after-firefox-update
