I have used Firefox for a long time, and it is the browser I prefer. Unfortunately over the last 6 months I am increasing having problems opening up webpages I normally view on Firefox! When I switch over to Google Chrome (NOT my preference!) those same pages open with no problems! What's up with this?

Often it's caused by extensions, does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

Are you using a proxy or VPN?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
