Please tell me how to fix this. I am a PC, not a mac. If i leave gmail for an instant, I have to go through a long routine to get back in. I do check the box that says remember me on this computer. This does not happen on my phone. I love Firefox and don't want to use another browser.

Gmail has a verification option that sends text to cell phone before letting you have access to gmail, think called 2-step verification. Maybe you have that turned on?
