I cannot clear this cache to zero no matter what I try. How can I clear this cache. It just started happening after a recent update. I clean my caches after every use but not any longer.

under about:cache this is what i see
/Users/JA/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/kwtsruua.default-release/cache2
What entries for the disk cache do you see via the about:cache page ?
Note that there is also local storage (storage/default folder in the primary/root profile location).
