Inbox folder will not update. It started 2 days ago. I deleted my email account and then install it again. I got all my back emails, but on more updates again. The spam folder does update OK. I need help with this problem.

Have you disabled email scanning in your anti virus?

I am using Norton 360. I do not see a way to turn off email scaning. Some more things I see with the problem. If I open an email, delete an an email, or move an email to my computer that will cause thunderbird to pull down the latest emails. Starting up thunderbird does not cause the latest emails to be down loaded. Any more ideas?
