In brief: How can I make firefox redirect a link like zotero123://open-pdf/123 to zotero://open-pdf/123. Because of some restrictions in Zotero, I can paste a link like zotero://open-pdf/123 on Firefox but I can trick it by pasting zotero123://open-pdf/123 (file://open-pdf/123 also doesn't work but any random string before the :// works). Because I am unable to edit Zotero so that the actual link is accepted, I am looking for others solutions. One of them could be to tell firefox to redirect a made up link like zotero123://open-pdf/123 to the actual local like zotero://open-pdf/123. So how can I make firefox redirect a local link to another local link? The firefox addons redirector doesn't accept local link.
