i have multiple emails set up for clients on a single Thunderbird profile, what is the best way for me to back up the individual email accounts so i have a copy available if needed in future if i remove the account from my profile (as the business/account has closed)?

If you have set up different directories for your email accounts you can just back up that directory if you want and restore it too. You can create multiple directories under "D:\...." (or whatever disk you want, personally I keep data separate from the OS) each one with the name of a mail account. Then tell TB to use that folder for that particular email account. All data for that email is under that folder thus it is all contained and separate from other email accounts. You then can backup/restore/delete each one without touching the others.
