Did you try to remove and re-add the keyword or can't you re-add the keyword once you have remove it?

Keywords are a bit fragile in current Firefox releases and places.sqlite can easily get corrupted if the URL changes because a keyword is not linked to a bookmark, but is linked to the URL.

That is what I have been doing. The problem is I have more than 100 bookmarks with keywords; a tedious task.
