in win10 firefox doesn't appear as firefox, but as google, how to fix this?

I just switched to Win10. Two shortcuts to websites changed from firefox icons to internet explorer icons?!? I do not use IE. So I uninstalled and re-installed firefox. When I click on firefox, there's no firefox icon in the window, and google search engine pops up. What's going on?
