Could you be more clear on what Bitdefender is finding and where?

Could be tracking cookies or stuff found in Cache which is harmless while there.

In general, Firefox is considered to be more secure than Internet Explorer, so it is not recommended that you revert to that browser. Sometimes, programs like Bitdefender report false positives. These are things that the software detects as an issue, but are actually safe.

If you are being advised of an infection on Firefox, you may want to try running some or all of these free scanning tools on your system. Many softwares cannot detect all issues, so running these tools will ensure that your current security software did not miss any infections.

If you are concerned about whether or not the websites that you visit are safe and secure, I would highly recommend downloading the Web of Trust addon for Firefox. This addon is a website reputation rating tool that will report on a website's security based on a large community of users.

If you are still receiving notifications from Bitdefender, please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.
